Feedback should help the recipient grow and improve. Overly critical feedback tends to demoralize and cannot help the recipient. Your feedback should also include some kind of praise. A good ratio of praise to critique is 2:1. This ratio keeps the message positive and reinforces the recipient's strengths while simultaneously pointing out areas for potential growth. After you have crafted the initial feedback, then you can use the automated tools to enhance it. Check for grammar and spelling. make sure you have data to backup statements made.

You can never depend totally on automation tools because they can’t speak like you but what you can do is to make necessary adjustments to them so they can sound like you and not sound too robotic. Feedback is meant to sound intentional and in order not to loose the human touch it’s necessary to customize your responses if possible.
