Do this simple exercise today and massively boost your quality of life in 2022

It has been an intense week... ??

My whole team and I are currently going through a very intense self-growth course called Positive Intelligence by Shirzad Chamine.

And a lot has come to the surface.

Feelings, pains, struggles, knowledge and lots of wisdom sharing ...

...which has also led me to reflect and look inwards A LOT (again as it is the 2nd time I'm doing this course)


So all of it took me back to an epiphany I had years ago. ??

About changing your reality which is super powerful.

Which I was able to achieve with ONE simple exercise!

Ask yourself this ????


?? Are you happier now than before all these years of hustling, working, and growing your own business?

Maybe sometimes feeling even more unhappy?

What if you made more money than ever before...

...but you also more stressed and neglecting things that bring you joy? ??


???? What if you’re thinking of your success based on your achievements and not really enjoying the process along the way?

Chances are that you spend your days with a lot of things that make you more unhappy instead of happier.

So here’s the exercise ????


1?? Take a sheet of paper or an excel sheet and make 2 columns.

In the first column list everything you do on a typical day that rather makes you unhappy.

This goes for business activities as well as your personal life.

Start in the morning and go through a typical day.

Here are some examples for you:

? Checking social media too much

? Skipping the gym or other good habits you planned to do

? Comparing yourself to others

? Emails & Slack late in the evening

? Manual tedious repetitive tasks

? Tasks that others should do

? Spending time with people you don’t even like

? Binge Eating on unhealthy food or shows and regretting it later

? Not spending time in nature or taking care of your health

? Bad sleep and low energy during the day

? Wasting time on trivial nonsense


2?? In the second column write down what you are going to do about it

First on a high level, and then more specific.

Examples are:

? Outsourcing those tasks

? Blocking those apps

? Finally implementing better habits like going for a daily run in the park,

? Fixing your time management and focus

? Making time for reading, learning, and yourself instead of mindless binging,

? Prioritizing your health, energy, and well-being in all areas.


? Something that has really helped me with this is to take 80/20 seriously.

What are the 20% of tasks that you can double down on? (your Zone of Genius)

What are the few things in your days that give you the most of your happiness that you can incorporate more?

Sure, this might be very minimal...

...And what does happy really mean right?

But it’s a good starting point.


Here’s the shift.

Happiness doesn’t lie at the end of the way but is the way. ??

Of course, we kind of know all of this.

But actually designing each of your days in such a way that you can be consistent with it, that’s where the magic happens.

Because as you spend your days, so you live your life.
