I agree, but I do believe that once a framework is agreed on, don’t be afraid to change what the framework is. There have been times where a team who has continuously practiced SCRUM, moves to Kanban. Either is fine, as long as you are aware of the benefits of each. At the end of the day, find out what the SMART goals are that your team is measured by, and be open to take feedback from your peers.
I would even go another step further: why selecting the right / appropriate framework? I believe it is more creating your individual agility by selecting the right practices or building-block - which might end up in a (given) framework. For sure when we talk about Shu-Ha-Ri, this is not the first stage, nevertheless it is good to know that this is the way where we should go long term - from my point of view.
