Scrum is a popular agile framework that can help teams deliver value in short and frequent iterations, known as sprints. It provides a structured environment for teams to plan, execute, review, and improve their work, as well as communicate and collaborate with each other and their customers. Additionally, Scrum can help resolve conflicts by providing a common vision and goal for each sprint that is aligned with the customer's needs and expectations, roles and responsibilities for each team member, and events and artifacts such as the daily stand-up, the sprint review, the sprint retrospective, the product backlog, and the sprint backlog. These enable the team to coordinate their work, monitor progress, share feedback, and identify and resolve issues.

3 Use agile techniques and tools

Agile teams employ various techniques and tools to facilitate communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution. For example, user stories are short descriptions of customer needs and wants. Estimation is a process that assigns a value to each user story or task based on its complexity, effort, or uncertainty. Pair programming is a practice where two developers work together on the same code. Additionally, a conflict resolution matrix can help the team identify the source, level, and impact of their conflicts and choose the most suitable strategy to resolve them by considering four dimensions of conflict: task, relationship, process, and values.

It is helpful to remember that our scrum practices are continually evolving in response to experience. It is okay to try out something and then change the approach later, when the results show where that approach worked and where it didn't. Agile prioritizes getting work done quickly and learning and adapting as we learn more. Get the team used to change and incremental improvements, and conflicts are easier to resolve.
