To integrate with a new API it is essential to know 3 things: 1. What is the expected input 2. What is the expected output 3. Behaviour of the API If you are integrated with an idempotent API for example, you can call the same method multiple times, and it will have the same behaviour, however, if it is not, you can't call the same method more than once. Knowing the behaviour, and having the input and expected output is the first step to integrating with the API
