While reading the work note down important points or incidents. After finishing the work go through the points. Avoid minor things which are not directly connected to the main theme. Now write the summary as per your understanding. Add other points if you need more length. For example if anybody asks me to summarise " The God of Small Things," I will say "The Avenge from Aymanam". Same thing I have summarised in 1500 words also.
