In addition to defining scope and identifying goals, it is also important to share those with everyone working on the project. How this project is going to impact humans, what is our contribution to it and what is the bigger picture - need to be communicated. If needed emphasise these again and again.

Understanding their world, their challenges, and their aspirations forms the bedrock of success. When we do that we're able to peel away layers to grasp the core challenges our stakeholders face. Only then can we craft tools that resonate with their realities. Simplification is the essence. During monitoring process, communicating on time is the key. In the agile process where the requirements are constantly changing, documenting those and communicating to all stakeholders is crucial. Any communication gap is going to impact one or the other module and costs us high. Define a clear process for these to avoid any gaps.

What’s missing is 1. Importance of have a robust project governance structure which should appropriately reflect the multidisciplinary nature of a healthcare ecosystem 2. Targeted change management strategies based on the project stakeholders and beneficiaries. This is particularly more relevant for health technology or quality improvement projects.
