Each project in your portfolio should be a case study. You should never show only the final result of your work. Each case study needs to contain: → Background information → Problem statement → User research → Design goals and objective → Design process and iterations → Solution → Usability testing and feedback → Outcome and results → Reflections and learnings The whole content should be presented with a natural storytelling approach.

When showcasing the outcome of your work, provide measurable results wherever possible. If your designs led to improvements, such as increased user engagement or conversion rates, quantify and showcase these achievements. This will prove your passion for solving not only user problems, but also your dedication to helping the business achieve its goals. Consider highlighting how these outcomes align with broader business objectives. On an additional note, a designer could demonstrate their commitment to continuous learning by discussing any challenges they faced, how they overcame them, and what they learned from each project. This indeed highlights their growth as a designer.

Instead of following a traditional format, you should consider a more strategic approach that reflects who you are, what you value, and how you work. Design is an iterative process that's filled with obstacles and triumphs. By highlighting these moments along the journey, you'll find you will naturally craft a compelling narrative that not only showcases your skills but also communicates your unique POV and sets you apart, as well as your passion, creativity and vision.

For your UX Portfolio, don't just showcase the result or outcome, because recruiters are more interested in knowing what your thought process was that led you to this outcome or result. For freelancers, it's okay to showcase the results or just the UI Design, but when applying to big tech companies, a case study is necessary.

The interviewer wants to know not only your solution but also your thought process. You need to demonstrate how you came up with the idea and why you think it will solve the issue. If you don't have a lot of experience working across multiple process phases there is plenty of materials online about that.

No come?o pode parecer cansativo, mas acredite, cansa menos do que estudar mais tempo em um único dia.

When applying for a job, I recommend often researching the company, the website/mobile app, stakeholders and more. I also recommend in order to stand out to send in your application along with a video maybe with some thoughts on their website. This has helped some people I know get noticed. Of course, it's not necessary, but just something that could make you standout amongst a sea of applicants.
