Before you start showcasing your conference impact and outcomes, it is essential to have a clear understanding of what you want to achieve and how you will measure it. Your main objectives and benefits should be identified, as well as how you will track and evaluate the results. Examples of goals and metrics include increasing brand or cause awareness, generating leads or donations, building relationships with speakers and attendees, providing value and learning opportunities for your audience, and inspiring action in your field or community. Storing Carbon in the soil instead of in the air is a great way to address climate change. Partners Empowering Agroecology Community Education works with 55 local groups to have skill building conferences, to share knowledge, to educate youth and do practical hands on creating tree nurseries, distributing tree seedlings and disseminating information on how to regenerate soil so that it can store more carbon. Plants and trees bring carbon from the air into the soil so using agroecology systems to increase plant cover is a great way to contribute to climate action solutions. PEACE encourages hundreds of small farmers every year to plant thousands of trees (40,000+) and youth have made a book of stories on social justice to bring awareness.
Creating and sharing content is a great way to demonstrate the impact and outcomes of your conference. Content can come in various forms, such as blog posts, podcasts, videos, infographics, newsletters, or reports. You can also repurpose content from the conference, like slides, recordings, transcripts, or quotes. When creating content, make sure you have a clear and catchy title and introduction that captures the attention of your audience. Support your points with visuals, data, and examples. Write in a conversational and friendly tone that reflects your brand voice and personality. And remember to include a call to action that invites your audience to take the next step.
Every week, youth meet on zoom to have meaningful conversations that motivate each other to take action. They have also attended Girls 4 Climate Action workshops, Busaino Fruits skill building workshops, EcoMamas outdoor education camps; they run classes for younger children in their villages, plant trees in public venues, help each other with studies and have created a collaborative book of Social Justice stories. They want to increase their abilities to pay school tuition by having a larger poultry project, raising egg laying chickens in particular. Perhaps the audience would like to contribute towards the capital needed?
When creating content, you need to consider the best channels and platforms for distribution. Depending on your target audience, you can use different media such as email, website, blog, podcast, or video platforms. To ensure successful distribution, personalize and segment your content for different audiences, optimize it with keywords and hashtags, and use catchy headlines, images, and captions. Additionally, timing your content according to audience preferences and habits is important.
Facebook is a free location for small holder farmers, youth and local NGOs to distribute information to potential collaborators. Thus Facebook is the main place where PEACE partners let people know about their efforts to regenerate land and empower people with knowledge, skills, motivational appreciation.
Engaging your audience in a dialogue and feedback loop is another way to showcase your conference impact and outcomes. You can do this by asking questions, soliciting feedback, encouraging comments, or creating polls or quizzes. This can help you build trust and rapport with your audience, gain insights and suggestions for improvement, increase loyalty and retention, and generate word-of-mouth and referrals for your brand, topic, or cause. When engaging your audience, remember to be responsive and attentive to their comments, questions, and concerns; be respectful and appreciative of their opinions and feedback; be transparent and honest about the conference impact and outcomes; and be proactive in following up with them on their actions and results.

I'm a grandma. When I brought tree seedlings to a group of grandmothers in their village, they started singing and dancing and being super grateful. The joy of that day is a memory with me forever, so simple and we all literally jumped for joy. Trees help them provide nutrition and medicines for their grandchildren who often stay with the grandmothers in villages, especially if there are no school fees for education in the towns. Trees also provide cooking and heating fuel, cooler microclimate, habitat for animals such as honeybees, fertilizer for soil, water and mineral cycling, timber for houses and furniture, wood chips to make paper.
Finally, don't forget to celebrate and appreciate your conference impact and outcomes, as well as the people who made it possible.
