Un sistema LMS/Learning Management System o Sistema de Gestión de Apendizaje, será "primordialmente útil", en la medida que tengamos en cuenta nuestra misión, filosofía y el objetivo general (Qué quién, cómo, dónde, cuándo y porqué) y objetivos específicos para cada departamento y área de trabajo de nuestra empresa. Muy recomendable sería partir de un análisis DOFA en nuestro negocio o empresa para su evaluación. Posteriormente llevar a cabo entrevistas y encuestas para la recopilación de información que nos será útil en la *previsión y planeación* (objetivos, políticas, programas, procesos y procedimientos, presupuestos y alternativas de acción) de nuestro "programa de aprendizaje en línea/e Learning".

A mi me ha resultado útil la estrategia de "escalado horizontal". Tengamos en cuenta qué, un LMS es una solución de software completa y escalable que permite a una empresa ofrecer formación de calidad en línea adaptándose a nuestras necesidades y como resultado, lograr eficiencia y rendimiento a nuestros usuarios o estudiantes. La "ventaja": es costeable, no necesita instalaciones locales y está lista en la nube para ser utilizada. Desventaja: ninguna.

I have worked with a number of LMS across institutions. In academia in the UK, we do not use the same system. At Kingston, we use Canvas. At Brighton University they use blackboard, at Central Film School they use Google Classroom and at Kings, they use Moodle. There is no widespread agreement across academia as to the best system. While Canvas is meant to be more interactive for students, it is difficult to encourage students to engage with interactive materials. In theory, it is fine but in practice, not so much. I prefer blackboard (or Google classroom), as I find them simpler to navigate. I am neurodiverse and I can struggle with finding my way around Canvas, whereas blackboard is much more straightforward.

Para ésto es hacer la revisión de nuestra "previsión y planeación" que en un inicio establecimos. Revisar si se han cumplido nuestros objetivos en base a nuestra misión, filosofía y visión de nuestra empresa. Revisar programas, procesos y procedimientos. Muy útil, es hacer las pruebas del usuario (alumnos, empleados), las encuestas y posteriormente las entrevistas y así sabremos si se cumplieron nuestras expectativas.

"Control-Planeamiento-Control" generalmente utilizamos gráficos de control y diagramas de causa y efecto. Son útiles para la revisión y establecimiento de normas, operación de controles e interpretación de resultados. Es necesario hacer una revisión completa del sistema a través del ciclo PDCA/Ciclo Deming: planificar, hacer, verificar y actuar. Lo anterior, con el objetivo de identificar algún problema, analizar el problema, se recopila nuevamente la información y buscamos nuevas soluciones y mejoras apoyándonos con nuevas tecnologías.
