When writing poetry, I read it out loud after proofreading it on the computer, then I ask someone who is close to me to proofread it, then proofread it again. When the book is sent to the publisher, if there are any other mistakes, I correct them. Then I proofread the book again. So maybe I use an overkill method of proofreading but for the most part it works.

Las virtudes de leer en voz alta, traen muchos beneficios, ya que podemos escuchar la música de la poesía y nos va a revelar tal vez alguna frase o letra que no concuerda, con el género musical poético, que estamos declamando. Al escribirla en una página virtual, también nos puede revelar algunas correciones o hilantes, que no se pueden ver o de pronto sentir, mientras no se exponga en la página. Puede ser tambien que un amigo nos revise el tema, ya que esto nos seguirá dando más inspiración, para mejorar incluso nuestra declamación. Los sistemas tecnológicos son de gran aporte, diría, porque ellos nos pueden ayudar con sus herramientas a comenzar una vida en el mundo de la poesía, que tenga un sonido muy propio y cuerdo.

Estas recomenda??es valem para qualquer gênero textual. Ler em voz alta é fundamental para ver o ritmo do texto, neste caso, poesia. N?o escrevo poemas, porém preocupo com a sonoridade das palavras para n?o acontecer cacofonia em português: a uni?o de sons desagradáveis. Exemplo: por causa = porca (sujeira ou feminino do animal porco) por cada (quase o mesmo significado do exemplo acima). Em sonetos, clássicos os versos s?o decassílabos. Para fazer esta verifica??o é quase obrigatório ler em voz alta para entender estrutura do texto. Vez por outra, é preciso mudar alguma palavra porque n?o dá a métrica correta.

O ideal é N?O usar corretor de texto, porque ele PODE n?o entender as nuances da estrutura em rela??o à licen?a poética. O melhor, nestes casos, é um dicionário de sin?nimos. N?o é bem um problema repetir palavras, porém fazer isso muitas vez significa pobreza de linguagem. Assim como, em português, vários críticos defendem que rima terminada em (?o) mostra pobreza de vocabulário.

Proofreading poetry seems to be easy but is actually difficult. Most of the time we might not be using an entire sentence. To the poet it might make sense. But to a reader it might not. Hence it will be better to read your poetry out loud yourself and also ask some friends to proofread it. They should review it in detail, especially, if the poetry conveys the intended message.
