How can you present your concept design to clients in a way that gets them excited?

The best way to know your audience, is to actively listening to them. When pitching or presenting, it's crucial to recognise that your enthusiasm and conviction in your proposal won't necessarily sway your clients. Understanding their values, their "why," is paramount. Tailoring your design to align with their values fosters a deeper emotional connection, transcending mere logic. Let's engage with clients on an emotional intelligence level to truly resonate with their needs and aspirations.

Knowing your audience is two-fold: (1) the audience who the campaign is intended for and (2) the audience you are pitching it to. Your immediate audience is selling your concept to the second one, and for that you need to position it in a tone and language they will understand/resonate with. In the end, it needs to convince them that you understand their problem, and that your concept is their solution.

Understand your clients' preferences, tastes, and goals. Tailor your presentation to resonate with their interests and needs.

Any concept works when it is relatable. We are an audience too, how does one ad manage to convert us but the other dsnt? Cause the one that did convert us is very relatable. It is speaking my language, talking about my problem and giving a relevant situation. This is how one can get anyone to listen and believe.

Stories appeal to our senses and our emotions, they connect new or abstract concepts to things we already understand multi-layered ways. Selling your concept is so much more than price, quality or your value-proposition. You can't sell without trust. Can they trust you to understand what they need? They can trust you to deliver? Personal stories create that connection.

Story and facts are a great way to involve an audience. It makes your content digestible and gives a perspective. Setting context is also very crucial. How does your concept help solve the problem? Showing that clearly displays your understanding of the problem at hand. Clarity and precision in communication also builds trust in the audience.

I love using visuals in a proposal, and this is no different. Canva is one of my favorite tools to use because it's so user friendly and helps the show and tell process.

A client must feel that you are invested in their business and genuinely looking to solve problems. In other words, they must be able to trust you. When you show them an exciting road map and ensure them of your support and skills, they get excited and motivated to work with you. Show them how you are a collaborator and not a mere vendor.
