T- Get to the bottom of their anger with their own insights and in their own words. A- Use Socratic questioning to allow the client to see the underlying issue. R- By asking my client "Why do you think you feel so strongly about this?" in multiple ways lead my client to the realization that they were that angry because they couldn't, and she could. My client stated, "I'm pissed because she can get high, and I can't." This was a surprise to my client. My client never saw an issue with this until my client got clean.
