How can you prepare to ace a safety-related job interview?

Para uma entrevista de emprego, costumo pesquisar sobre a empresa, sua vis?o e seus valores, pesquiso sobre seus clientes, os gestores da empresa e também avalio se a vis?o da empresa está de acordo com a minha vis?o, nem tudo é sobre dinheiro.

Para uma entrevista de emprego, você deve antes pesquisar sobre a empresa, conhecer os seus conceitos de Miss?o, Vis?o e Valores, e principalmente preparado para responder as perguntas sobre a posi??o e fun??o que você almeja. Nada pior do que conversar com o gestor e n?o saber responder o básico da fun??o.

Read the job description carefully. If the hiring company is looking for someone to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies, you will be on the losing side of reducing/preventing injuries. In your research, try and define their culture and just how important their employees are to their success. If employees appear to be important, then your ability to drive both safety and organizational culture is increased. On the opposite side, if the organization is strictly compliance driven or it appears you are being interviewed because of a rash of injuries or a fatality....... walk away.

Check and research for the company you are applying to. make sure it is almost inline with your roles and responsibilities and job description. if not for sure they will not call you for interview. prepare and give your best. stand what you believe there is no need to argue in interview.

Be honest and truthful with all your answers and Is the only way to walk out of there a successful candidate for the next round. Most important ask why are they hiring? What are there expectations in the next candidate. What do they see has worked and what needs improvement. Let them know with your experience and education what you can bring to the table but this will be a joint effort on all parties.

Nessa etapa de currículo, eu gosto de customizar o currículo para empresa que irei enviar, ent?o revejo o cargo, deixo apenas três experiências de acordo com o que busco, as recomenda??es fa?o o mesmo, atualizo os cursos extras, trabalhos sociais, etc... Procuro ser verdadeiro, nunca mentir sobre experiência nem sobre trabalho voluntário, na entrevista será testado em tudo que colocou em seu currículo.

Review your resume from top to bottom. Prepare for unexpected & situational questions too not just the meaning/definitions memorization. Research what you written in more depth so that during interview you can respond & which will boost your confidence too. And use STAR method i.e. Situation, Task , Action & Result while answering.

Ensure you all provide the correct details what you doing and what you experience either you are working in the site or facility management, manufacturing etc. Update your resume to the latest roles and responsibilities you have. never fabricate anything..

Stress your role as an integral part of the organization. Your (future) employer is in business to produce whatever it is that makes them a profit. Your role is to integrate into that culture and within the confines of the existing culture create change that benefits the organization. Your role should be to create an environment that is safe for employees AND is profitable for the company. Understand and communicate you will never create a zero-risk environment. A construction safety manager can create a fantastic safety program to prevent employee injuries, but unless it is conducive to building a building, it will never benefit the organization. Your responses to questions should always show benefit to the organization.

Talk about what you know and don’t act like you know everything. Understand the position you are interviewing for. So many times people get interviewed who have great looking resumes and can’t answer a complex EHS question.

Uma coisa eu posso garantir, em SSO, as perguntas ser?o prioritariamente situacionais. Prepare vários exemplos práticos que você possa encaixar em situa??es que reflitam sua experiência. Pense sempre em uma a??o e em um resultado positivo que foi alcan?ado. Se estamos falando de Seguran?a e Saúde Ocupacional, quais s?o os contextos com incidentes que mais podem acontecer? Quer um exemplo da empresa onde trabalho (ONU)? Como você resolveu o dilema causado pela norma X e o costume Y de sua empresa? (Competência analisada: Integridade). Por fim, uma dica de ouro: as competências e atitudes que essas perguntas ir?o abordar est?o sempre no próprio anúncio de vaga de emprego. Exemplo: Organiza??o, Planejamento, Comunica??o, etc.

Be ready and be confident. same question they will ask. tell me about yourself. with showcase your achievements in your work and education. don't tell them your biography unless it is ask.

At the end of an interview ask: What are the challenges your are facing ? Why this position is vacant? What are the expectations of you from me? Is the any accident happened? what were the RC's?

Depois de seguir todas esses conselhos e praticar, execute tudo na entrevista e depois confie no processo. Aguarde o resultado, nunca vá para uma entrevista sem estudar, nunca fique despreparado pois o entrevistar se preparou para entendeu o seu melhor.

In addition to research the company go through your resume deeply , prepare well & dont just write rather practice. Share your experiences in an interview not rote memorization / Google definitions. Stay calm & relax. share achievements that shows how you did, your impact.

Having a sound command on legislation helps you crack and inspire interviewer always outshine among others. The more you are confident greater the chances to get selected. Its not mandatory you shall have knowledge for all the required competencies. The remaining room is esteemed as room for improvement.
