Beyond the technical requirements outlined, Scope, purpose, etc. Organizations that have succeeded at documentation emphasize its importance and build the documentation as part of the larger project plan. Built the documentation as you go, do not wait until the end to "create" the document.

Building ventilation & plant requirements can also be recorded and submitted to contractors for tender & later used to approve the project nearing completion.
