Then you can store the json value in CDN like Cloudfront with some unique key and update the value in s3 once every 1 hour (lets say the period is 1 hour). This will make your server be used than necessary. Your internal VPS or VPC will be used less. If we have server farm or running multiple instances of our application then we needs distributed cache so that our cache is centralized and each instance can use it. Then we can apply cache on differnt parts of applications like on Database, and web responses.

"Measure twice, cut once". It's useful in carpentry, but also in software development. If you measure what data is being read, where it's being read from, if the data is being written (changed), how often it is being changed, then you have a lot of measurements that can drive how you should cache something, and for how long it should be cached. It never changes? Cache it forever. Does it really never change? Invalidate the cache at the same rate of frequency of changes. Is it constantly changing or has to always be 100% accurate? Then maybe don't cache it but rather rate limit the readers. Finally, measure the performance before and after introducing the cache, and adjust.
