Online communities may work and have a small time and cost (if any) commitment, if any. However, the networking is unlikely to be local or tailored to any particular interest. Podcasts and papers enhances a cv and client contact, but are unlikely to enhance peer networking.

Wow, a topic I've been chasing my whole career. Sometime long ago, I decided to open up our calculations and methods on our website, and invite comment.
