Mckinsey Forward asked me then, "what is your learning objective?" Similarly, the goal defines the essence of the journey ere setting out. And the questions to answer are just this ?? simple. -Identify the problems/challenges/gaps you want to address. -Define your outcome/aftermath -Does the goal align with the strategic management position? Etc. Again, DEFINE YOUR GOAL!

I guess we all are familiar with the term significant success factors and key performance indicators. Both are useful in highlighting what to watch out for based on the definition of "success" you sent so that you can be instantly advised if improvement is needed and if excellent point was attained. So in this context, having identified the challenges/gaps/problems to address; defined what the outcome/aftermath looks like, and so on. Kindly set a metric for tracking progress in the process. And a number of techniques can be used such as a balanced score board.
