Based on that we can decide not only the types of resources required but also the quantity of a resource with a particular skillset. Such recognition is the key to building an environment favorable to productivity and proactivity. Monetary recognition is also relevant and it's important to be transparent about the requirements for such a recognition to avoid friction and a sense of unfairness. In my experience, the transparency and the combination of different types of recognition are more effective than just monetary recognition.
