In the context of a team, you're the catalyst that helps people navigate through the process of working together to achieve their shared objectives. It's not just about making meetings smoother; it's about energizing the team, fostering open dialogue, and setting the stage for innovation and decision-making.

Imagine you're a navigator on a ship. The team is the crew, and the destination is the common goal. You don't control the ship (like a leader), nor do you tell everyone exactly how to sail (like an expert). Instead, you provide the map, ensure everyone's voice is heard, and help the crew work together to navigate and overcome challenges on their journey and reach the desired destination together.

By doing this we can address the root problems in the systems and processes which can help many other teams with their ongoing team development. If it is not a common conflict we use it as a shared lesson with our own team and improve our bonding.

Every conflict has a lesson if you're willing to look for it. Use retrospectives as a learning tool, turning hindsight into foresight for the next sprint.
