It allows us to work collaboratively to resolve and then plan proactively to prevent further issues. It leaves everyone feeling encouraged to work together to solve the problems and strengthens the relationship between the company and vendor when positive results emerge.

Dig deep. Pinpoint exact pain points. Talk to all sides. Be curious, not judgmental. Find real triggers behind the tension. Perhaps mismatched expectations, poor communication, and confusing processes. Presuming motives often misses the mark. Keep asking "Why?" kindly, until you reach the root.
