How can you manage client deadlines more effectively in digital strategy?

When you work for any client, it’s important to define their needs, goals and results to plan KPIs together. For example, if a client want to be more present on digital (awareness), we aren’t measure the conversion (lead generation or purchase) and we focused on impressions, reach, CPM, etc… This is can avoid some displeasure at the end of the campaign during the report !

Expectation management is the key to successful client relationship management. It's vital to under-commit and over-deliver to keep a client happy each time. Whether it's about delivery timelines or achieving your KPI targets. Use the principle of 'Hope for the best but prepare for the worst' to set a target. Always consider the facts that can impact your performance negatively and then project the target accordingly. Make sure your targets aren't a straight-line growth chart but it grows like a sin wave to accommodate seasonality. Delivery timelines are also planned in a manner that the deadlines you and your team can achieve comfortably. Also, ensure deadlines are shared with clients will at least have a couple of more days as a buffer.
