In my experience, the best feedback comes from students who understand the training. The best way not to lose learners is to build evaluations into different phases of your training. I ask learners for their understanding of the each segment before we move on. That way we make sure they're ready to move to the next subject.

I agree that we should act on the feedback or at a minimum acknowledge the feedback openly. People love to hear that changes are being made as a result of feedback from the community.
