In my experiences, equipments manuals have all list of maintenance requirements. Just keep in mind that they write the manuals without any feed back from the customer experience after certain periode the equipment released on the market. The manual will list out all the possible failure mode technically that may happen and might not necessary will happen during equipment lifetimes. They may put all those list to protect the eom liabile for the failure or to avoid warranty when the equipment fail before reached the design lifetime.
