As a language instructor, seeing my students write creatively is one thing I cherish, and in doing so, I integrate technology into the process. Technology has proven to augment teaching in diverse ways. I make use of both inductive and deductive methods to elicit language from my students. Through the use of Padlet, I provide prompts, scenarios, and images about the subject to spark my students' creative ideas. Through collaborative writing with other students, they are able to make connections with what their peers are thinking on the same subject; this also enables them to give each other feedback, which helps them write with greater ease. I only introduce sample works as and when they become necessary.

They would roll the dice and these will dictate the who, where, and climax of the story. The rest has to be created by the student. What I’ve found helpful is to offer options to encourage students to write. Each morning I placed a writing prompt on the board. Journaling was a daily routine in my class. To ensure full participation from all, students had the option to write about an issue they were dealing with, a current event or any topic that was on their minds. The most important thing was to write and develop their writing skills.
In one of my advanced teen classes, I used to have a ritual. As my students were smart and they had a good knowledge, for the end of each topic in the lesson, I would've asked them to write down a short story using the structures and the words(as much as they could) and they turned out to be very interesting.

I often tell my students that they can have and live the life they want right in their imaginations, so I encourage them to create stories from their personal experiences, and sometimes we travel into their imaginations to recreate their world and put it on paper. I drew this from my experience, as a kid from a poor background who desired a better life. I simply wrote a story about me, from a wealthy background. I changed my narrative.

Now the question is, can this be environment be simulated even briefly when the mind lets go of external “reality” and dwells totally inside with access to its subliminal world with a longer retentive memory. The answer is Yes if we examine life of classic authors Nobel scientist , famous musicians,Artists and mathematicians. All the methods mentioned will definitely aid in process of creativity but true creativity IMHO comes from an internal inordinate beautiful love of something precious in actual life. Cheers
