I've always adopted to track Vendor performances by "On-Time" deliveries against their "Quoted Deliveries." You soon learn who you can trust and who you cant.....

Diversified feedback is very practical for a long-term horizon. This means that feedback should be obtained on a regular basis, but always in a joint dialog. In this way, feedback questions can also be specified, expanded or adapted.

Vendor evaluation should be like employee evaluation. Start with an understanding of 4 or 5 goals the vendor should be meeting. Then get them to evaluate themselves on those goals. Ask for improvement methods in the self evaluation. Ask how the customer can help the vendor meet those goals. Ask if other customers make it easier to meet those goals.

Une prise de position et réactivité face aux commentaires des fournisseurs et des clients devraient être des guides à usage de chaque membre de l'équipe et leur livre de chevet sinon. simple réflexion ??
