When you're designing your presentation you begin with critical questions - what is the purpose? For me and for them. Who is my audience? What do they need and how can I tailor? And of course planning the message and method of your session. Often current events become important contextual informations to help you deliver on your purpose -make it relevant. Or to make it relate to your particular audience. I'd be looking for case studies or events where your audience can find themselves in the story. It relates? It adds value? It clarifies? It contextualises?
