How can you improve your team's collaboration?

in my point of view, t think increasing collaboration between team members depend on many factors such as: 1- better communication techniques used and regular meetings 2- engage employees to share his ideas within the team members 3- empower new employees and prepare the proper training programs

In my opinion, I believe that improving collaborations between team members starts with proper planning. Understanding the nature of any given task or project is a crucial part that determines the outcome of the project. Knowing the exact scope and expectations that your clients hired you for is the root of a comprehensive collaboration between team members. For example, knowing what purpose you were hired for, what kind of experience your client wants, and what kind of job your team member needs to achieve. All these factors determine priorities and responsibilities. Based on that, you assign tasks to the right team members and allow for a better understanding of each microscope that fulfills the bigger picture.

There are no Super Heroes or Champions in a team. The Seniors with more experience should share their knowledge with the Juniors. This ensures the success of a particular assignment. Seniors should remember they picked matters up with willing mentoring of their Seniors when the first started out. In the long run it becomes "An art of Perfection "

A good practice that I usually prefer to do with my team is to set 2-3-hour milestones. This milestone serves as a reset feature of the mechanism of the team. Dividing the totality of the task into smaller segments allows for a quick on-site follow-up to understand how far we are from completion. When the team sits down and talks about all their concerns in any given matter, this creates some sort of a team feeling instead of the feeling of isolation.

Keep the whole team updated on everything you and the team are doing. Even if members A an D are not involved in a certain topic, inform them anyway. Ask them to reciprocate. Whenever a topic becomes relevant again, inform the team again. You and they should know that poor communication wastes time and money. Sending extra information, even if unnecessary, is much better.

As a production engineer, I could enhance teamwork by implementing strategic feedback and communication plans. To foster understanding across production stages and increase team interaction, I used to organize cross-training sessions, implement a digital platform for real-time communication and reporting, and institute daily huddle meetings at my previous workplace. In addition, frequent anonymous feedback surveys and performance reviews that emphasize teamwork offer a comprehensive approach that encourages open communication, cooperation, and continuous improvement within the production engineering team as well.

I agree. There is no better way to grasp the basics of any skill than to practice it in real-time. Combining a senior team member with a junior team member allows for a window of new possibilities and knowledge sharing. As a project manager, your scope is not only about completing the task but also about elevating your team members along the way. Encouraging your team to explore new ideas is always a good idea.

Of course. Sometimes you will have to set priorities and push for a specific decision when conflicts happen. You need to follow a timeline for delivery. Allowing an argument to grow into a problem is always, especially on-site, is not the right thing to do.

A team that delivers greatness has to celebrate together. Delivery of exceptional quality is due to motivation and passionate approach.

Celebrating your team's achievements and hard work creates a healthy work environment. Effort equals reward. We all like the feeling of being appreciated and given credit for our hard work. Not only that but celebrating the achievements of your team members pushes other team members to do more.
