Cameras can be your alarms, the technology is well developed, that it can be set to detect motion or no motion, it can also include fire detection, facial recognition ( provided its linked to a reliable database). Alarms can be installed on doors that are supposed to be always closed, such as fire doors.

Having cameras in the common areas/exterior of is helpful in both preventing crime and providing evidence after a crime occurs. Just the presence of cameras is often enough to prevent a criminal. They often won’t commit a crime if they think they’re being watched/recorded. I think now more than ever having additional security measures is important, with crime rising all over the country in the past 1-2 years. Purchase food quality cameras that can produce an image that is able to clearly and easily identify an individual.
