You have to understand that in order to compete in today's market you must admit that regular sql search won't cut it anymore, even if you used elastic search or other engines like it. One of the most modern & effective ways of achieving competitive advantage would be to understand the intent behind a customer query, so consider the following two queries: 1- Avene Moisturizer With SPF 25 2- Avene sunblock with moisturizing effect. A good intent based search algorithm will understand that the first is a moisturizer product with sun blocking capabilities while the second is the sunblocker with moisturizing capabilities. Keyword matching as in engines by companies like algolia won't be enough. Something like netcore unbxd is preferred.
