Process improvements on the terminology seems really nice but in Automotive Industry it is not easy to apply. I can give you an example: you have a bolting process it takes physically about 3 seconds within the max rpm, torque values etc so from that point if you can not achieve physically better then that times it is almost impossible to follow same process. So you have to check the previous data and apply another solutions there as well.
