These inefficiencies can be caused by poor design, lack of integration, inadequate resources, unnecessary complexity, and non-value-added activities. Poor design can lead to confusion, errors, or duplication; lack of integration can cause silos, gaps, or inconsistencies; inadequate resources can cause delays, bottlenecks, or quality issues; unnecessary complexity can lead to inefficiency, waste, or rework; and non-value-added activities can include redundant, outdated, or irrelevant tasks.

When I worked as a junior process engineer, I tackled inefficiencies in business processes by first mapping out the workflows to get a clear picture of each step. This allowed me to identify redundancies and bottlenecks. Engaging with the employees who were directly involved in these processes provided valuable insights, as did gathering feedback from customers. To further pinpoint inefficiencies, I benchmarked our processes against industry standards and conducted root cause analysis. Additionally, I reviewed the technology we were using to ensure it was up-to-date and effective, and examined the cost structure to identify any high-cost areas that could indicate inefficiencies.

Na minha experiência, é importante replicar o Gargalo no ambiente de qualidade, assim o Key User pode mostrar ao consultor funcional onde está o problema, uma lista de issues é importante para n?o deixar passar nenhum gap. Importante também ter um funcional para analisar os Dumps gerados na opera??o para identificar possíveis gargalos de Hardware.
