In other words, they must know how to do their own research and understand the sources, venues, methods and tools for them to upskill even when you’re not coaching them. How to identify who to talk with, how to think about understanding the different kinds of knowledge to be found in different areas of the company.

Networking is crucial for finding opportunities, learning from others, and building credibility in a new field. You can help your mentees network by introducing them to your contacts, inviting them to events, or recommending them to groups or platforms.
