La posibilidad de la cancelación de un proyecto fotográfico puede convertirse en una sombra permanente a lo largo del trabajo, si no se llega a un acuerdo razonable con el cliente desde el principio a través de la firma de un contrato específico sobre las condiciones de realización e incluso de cancelación del mismo por alguna de las partes indicando los pagos, gastos y/o compensaciones derivados de ello. Pero si debemos enfrentar tal situación, es imperativo conocer el motivo que llevó a la cancelación del proyecto y si es posible comprometerse a superarlo, pero si las razones son externas, es decir, ya no dependen de los fotógrafos se debe proponer un tiempo más adecuado para la realización.

No siempre aplica la elaboración de un contrato, sobre todo cuando los proyectos son rápidos y sin embargo se puede trabajar en prevenir cancelaciones si se trabaja mediante pago por adelantado o con anticipo. Para poder trabajar de esa manera se debe fortalecer tus recomendaciones de clientes satisfechos y generar una marca personal muy sólida.

In this situation, the stress may come from the fact that the cancelled gig provided a big chunk of revenue. As a solopreneur at the start of the journey, there are not many opportunities and money is tight, which is not that pleasant. My advice is to take action into developing multiple ways of earning money and put some effort into promoting your business. In theory, these action should improve your financial situation, which will make you feel less affected if a client cancels on you.
