If these changes will represent a cost to the other party, then it's also best to be upfront and let them know you're aware. At the end of the day, a collaborative partnership should look to create a win-win environment, which means that it should be sustainable for both sides.

“Review and inspect” topic should be simply covered by a good and strong audit clause in the contract, allowing the organisation or a named third party to perform the inspections upon notification. The clause should be strong enough to determine how many years the review can go back and what type of information and documentation the organisation can request. This should be sufficient enough to validate charges and compliance. In addition, the clause should make it clear that any resources and other related internal costs used to support the review shouldn’t be responsibility of the organisation and any discrepancy above a certain amount, costs of the review would be passed through at cost.
