They got any idea and knowledges about some points, but need know how integrate it in overview: all questions they ask and start in conversation have this feature.

?Talk with them to explain that is required because they are learning things that don't know; need to get best practices, know how manage with users and project, minimize risks in project and others things related with responsibilities, expectations and roles. ? The plan is part of gradual increase of capacity in area they want to improve: the moment will arrive to take more work and responsibility. ?? In my opinion and experience; right mentees are happy and gratefull; with affect positive in the attitude; with this explaination, and mentor must detect it.
