From my perspective, acknowledging their level of familiarity with the subject and adapting the tone accordingly ensures relevance and clarity. Whether addressing superiors, colleagues, or clients, grasping their perspectives guides the choice of language and content. However a better question to ask yourself is 'how can I reduce email culture within my organisation' It's actually a debilitating factor and the cause of increased stresses across many organisations. We need to leverage more tools and better ways of working to enhance creativity and production. I have worked in an organisation where internal emails are almost banned and certainly frowned upon. Yes you have to make sure this doesn't bleed to Teams or Slack overload, but anything to reduce noise and increase focused work should be prioritised.
