The web is for everybody. I design all my websites with the guidelines of WCAG. Buttons, input fields and all elements with the correct ARIA attributes. Designers can also use multiple colour profiles for different disabilities. Developers can use meta tags to ensure the zoom level. Use elements only for screen readers for better UX. There are a few things which can be helpful: 1. Alt text for images 2. ARIA attributes for buttons and links. 3. Easy labelled Navigation. 4. Skip to the main content button for better UX. 5. Testing on screen readers. Modern browsers can be equipped with extensions which can mimic the screen readers. Developers should consider all these to make the Internet a comfortable place to everyone.

It's not always possible to find native screen reader users for usability testing so something that I've done historically because it's fast and cheap is turn off my monitor and if I can't successfully do the task at hand it goes back for another round of revisions.
