Defining the values clearly in document form and practising and believing in it thoroughly is very important. Verbal communication does not work each time. Defining the culture in the very beginning is essential. Defining it since day one makes a lot of difference.

Once you have defined your values, you need to communicate them effectively and consistently to your volunteers. You can use various channels and methods to do this, such as your website, social media, newsletters, brochures, posters, orientations, trainings, meetings, events, and feedback sessions. The best way to communicate values is for people to witness your values first hand. People buy into a vision most when their leader is bought in. It's important to communicate what our values are, but more importantly for our team to see our everyday decisions reflect those values

Explain how these values translate into daily operations and volunteer expectations. make them understand the importance of the industry they will be working in. For example, in a coworking space business, being friendly, and cooperative is very important. Smiling throughout the day and being helpful is essential
