To use multimedia effectively, it is wise to know that there are three learning styles: auditory, visual and kinesthetic. Hence, using multimedia in such a way that it caters to all types of learning styles would be a good idea. Also, trainers may fall into the trap of using a visual style, if their learning style is visual or audio kinesthetic etc., so focusing on the audience by looking beyond your way of learning can lead to better absorption by learners.
