It is hard to overrstimate importance of Cloud Operations in choosing Cloud Architecture. In some teams I saw choosing "best tool for the job" ended-up in using almost all fancy services cloud provider has without any clear strategy for unifying or migration. That can easily lead to issues when managing deployment as well as to the situation when team knowledge of the tools stays on basic level simply because there are simply too many things to learn. That in turn leads to semi-optimal solutions and cost increase, which is difficult to address.
