As also stated in Darwin's theory, "survival of the fittest'' One should adapt in order to survive. One should go for recognized programs by thoroughly checking its accreditation, may be self-research or via word of mouth whom you trust.

I see a number of issues with accreditations- especially in the menopause space. Often they are a funnel system for brands. They offer a ‘membership’ and then internally give awards to members. To me this is not independent verification of good work. It’s like giving an award for getting up in the morning…everyone’s doing it but only those in the club get a badge. Accreditation value is shown in being transparent about the objectives and hidden benefits of accreditation. There are ‘tick’ accreditations for products - again unless you declare openly the process, sadly many accreditations are costly, impractical and in my opinion of little relevance. Instead I would advise asking for case studies, hard data and outcomes- not badge wearing!

Word of mouth or referral is crucial. If some of your friend / colleague / known person has already completed the program that you are looking for, and he has got the accreditation certificate, then you also can pursue the same. This will reduce your research and verification time.
