If I have multiple resources with me and multiple work on my plate I tend not to delegate it. Rather I say these are work which you can pick up. As per the confidence level, strength and weakness and deadline they choose one to work with. As it's not assigned it is the kind of work he is looking for out of the plate this increases the productivity as I have observed.

I personally want them to come to me for guidance which shows their commitment to the work and the palace where they think they lack. It is a skill to understand self weakness and strengths. I try to develop that.
