Es interesante mantener una comunicación abierta, no solo en un equipo en concreto sino en el área completa del equipo. Es decir, dentro del equipo y todos y cada uno de sus integrantes y colaboradores, así como con el resto del departamente y área en la que participan. Hay que considerar que en las organizaciones hay puntos de sinergia y que apoyan palancas de eficiencia a nivel transversal. El conocimiento en silos no hace más que ralentizar la agilidad organizativa, sin embargo el hecho de fomentar y generar escenarios donde compartir el conocimiento es algo que aporta un valor incalculable, dentro y fuera de nuestros equipos.

Los roles de los equipos, para poder compartir conocimiento y ser polivalentes, deben de poder ser flexibles lo que implica ser adaptables al cambio y ser ágiles en la rotación interna y externa de sus integrantes. Las necesidades de negocio y funcionales así como de restricciones económicas hacen que las configuraciones de los equipos puedan varias en un alto porcentaje de variación. Debemos de ser previsores y como buenos gestores de ingeniería anticipar situaciones de incertidumbre. Formación transversal en diferentes ámbitos será clave para poder hacer frente a este tipo de circunstancias.

Fomentar y dar lugar a sesiones en las que los integrantes del equipo, todos y cada uno/a sean los líderes de la sesión de trabajo compartiendo sus inquietudes y conocimiento. La generación espontánea de ideas y la creación de métodos o enfoques de trabajo a nivel de equipo, donde todos participamos, es muy necesario y es algo que, sin duda, nutre la motivación de todos. Desafiar el status-quo es algo esencial para que todos los integrantes se motiven y tengan recorrido para crecer dentro de la organización.
