Some of the analytical skills will be utilized as below: 1. Check the same items trend like Quantities and Frequency. 2. Check the forecast for how much quantites will be required with in certain period e.g 100 Qty of certain item is required within 3 months then again it is required in next 3 months so acacordingly negotiate with the supplier 3. Check if some of the quantities could be delivered after some time as and when required to save the warehouse space 4. Negotiate based on the shelf life, Qty., frequency and upcoming forecast 5. Negotiate for the payemt terms based on the history of payment 6. Negotiate for the inco terms if pricing is not possible for reduction
