Always let customers know how results will be captured, how often they will get the reports and if data can be shared too in Excel for customers to analyse performance by integrating data from different sources.

This can be good exercise for the team members- Have them call up existing customers and get their feedback on the product and the journey that led to the purchase. Done consistently over a period of time it can be an eye opener in the pain points and how the customer's experience has been. This one is my favorite- read all the reviews and comments that come in, setting aside some time every week to do this as a team again is an eye opener in how the journey is, how people feel about the product / service. I still remember some of the reviews that were written and you could hear the emotion and gratitude in some of them. It definitely invigorates the team to do more and look for better ways and means of doing things.
