One time at work . . . THE WORLD TRADE CENTER WAS ON FIRE AND COLLAPSED AND MY SUPERVISOR INSTRUCTED ME TO CALCULATE THE AMOUNT OF DEBRIS; I DID NOT TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION THE HUMAN REMAINS. A FORMER COLLEAGUE WITH WHOM I WORKED AROUND THE CORNER FROM GROUND ZERO WAS LAST SEEN BY HIS CO-WORKERS GRABBING EMERGENCY PPE OFF OF AN EMS AND RUNNING TOWARD THE TOWERS; HIS NAME IS LISTED ON THE MEMORIAL. I WAS SUPPOSED TO FOLLOW-UP WITH HIM THAT DAY 9/11 TO DISCUSS A CASE. IT WAS THEN THAT I REALIZED THAT LIFE RESPECTS NO PLAN. In my experience . . . Look at the existing gaps, address gender/cultural/community challenges financial constraints and negligence that may may led to the existing conditions then link them to the injustices...the problem lies within, and so should the solutions

Sometime we approach issues with top down outlook at the risk of becoming ourselves parts of the problems we want to resolve.

Make a website which can be done freely using AI, showcase how and why the funding will be used. With transparency, funding and a clear vision the project can be started at a ground level. A strategic plan is not complete without financial projections based on at least three different scenarios-A highly likely, somewhat likely and least likely. The highly likely is the best case and should be pursued initially but the others enable the company to switch on different plan of action which have been examined at the planning stage through critical thinking rather than being absolutely unforeseen.

Then third question is what are the inputs (activities) I need to engage in to achieve these outcomes. Clearly thinking through these steps will help one develop a results framework that can help in your project. This will look like developing a mind map for the proposed social justice intervention.

I believe critical thinking particularly in areas of social justice need many voices to be heard.
