Ideally you’ll want to be recognized in your company, industry and/or network for these skills. It’s ok to be an expert in one thing - you don’t necessarily need to be an expert in all things. For your weaknesses, take this as an opportunity to search for friends/colleagues that are experts and learn from them. Understand how they’ve become experts and how they work. Most importantly, be comfortable relying on them when in need.

Adaptability in B2B marketing can be confusing. There are so many qualities to focus on: - Flexibility - Resilience - Open-mindedness - Problem-solving - Emotional intelligence There are definitely some qualities that matter more than others. I’ve worked with 57+ Fortune 500s and early-stage SaaS startups. I focus on developing these traits instead: 1. Ability to embrace change: The marketing landscape is ever-changing. Embrace it, don’t resist. 2. Learning agility: Continuously upskill and reskill to cope with new challenges. 3. Emotional resilience: As a marketer, you will face rejection more often than not. It's crucial to bounce back stronger. And it's been working wonders for me.
