Trust your instincts.... This phrase is often thrown around as advice in various situations, and it couldn't be more true when it comes to watching movies. Our instincts are our innate ability to sense and understand things without the need for conscious reasoning. When watching a movie, our instincts can guide us to anticipate plot twists, character motivations, and the overall direction of the story. Don`t you agree?

MUSIC! Even if you don't use it. A song you love can help you plan your tone rhythm and pace for a scene. I thought this was a nerdy girl hack until I found out all the best filmmakers have music in mind before they even start a script. Work with underrepresented talent, compensate accordingly...add music...if the pace of voices, movement and sound are enough you can cut it. But start with a rhythm you love.
