1 Types of filters

There are many types of filters that can be classified according to their frequency response, their topology, their components, and their applications. Some common types are low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, band-stop, and notch filters. Each type has a different function and effect on the input signal. For example, a low-pass filter allows low-frequency components to pass through while attenuating high-frequency ones, while a high-pass filter does the opposite. A band-pass filter allows a specific range of frequencies to pass through, while a band-stop filter blocks them. A notch filter removes a narrow band of frequencies around a certain value.

2 Filter design methods

There are different methods to design filters for electrical circuits, depending on the requirements and specifications of the project. Pendant une mise au point CEM, éviter de modifier plusieurs filtres entre chaque essai. Ca pourrait fausser l'interprétation de son effet.
